Provide opportunities for students to relate their native and target cultures.Do not provide work that is too difficult or too easy for them. Take into account the proficiency level of your students.Many find it easier to use a grammar point and work off of that. Choose a speech act or topic to focus on (grammar, vocab, etc.) and build from there.You can also download a lesson plan template from here.You can find one list of lesson plan templates available for download by clicking here.No matter which lesson plan you choose to use, make sure that it properly addresses the prompts and instruction in your learning journal in the Section 4 Activities. To create your lesson plan, you should be combining the activities you used in the past three units in addition to the new and existing knowledge you have on language education to come up with a comprehensive mini lesson plan. As instructors, it is likely you already know how to create a lesson plan however I will provide examples to aid in the process. Instead, you will focus on your lesson plan. For this unit, we won't be introducing new material on pragmatics instruction.
